Hello,

I have created a goalscape that I would like to use as a template for additional goalscapes. Is there an easy way to do this in Goalscape Connect?

I am looking for a "save as" type function where I can save the initial template goalscape with a new name.

The only way I can see to do this at the moment is to download the GSP file, save that with the new name, then upload it again. Is there a more efficient way?

Thank you.

    Hello Melissa

    Thanks for your inquiry.

Good idea! Yes, we are considering implementing such a shortcut for people who want to create different versions of the same project. This will also enforce unique (main goal) names for the duplicate projects to avoid confusion.

In the meantime you can use the workaround you describe, changing the main goal names of the duplicate projects yourself (perhaps to reflect the different collaborators' names). We know of other consulting and coaching organizations that do this when they distribute the same template to different clients or teams.

Thanks again for taking the time to post this. We have published an online Survey where you can comment on some proposed new features and suggest your own ideas. We always listen to our customers and the opinions in the Survey (and those posted on this forum) directly influence our development priorities and scheduling.

    All the best!
