Report outputs containing only focused view
I would like to generate reports using only the content that has been highlighted using the various filters (date due, tags, responsibility). There appears to be a flag option to do this (report on focused view?) but this is ghosted out on all the various file output options and is therefore not functional. Is there a way to run such a filter before exporting, and if so, is this the intended function of this option?

Hello Peter
Thanks for your inquiry.
You will be delighted to know that we are indeed working on a 'Report On Highlighted Goals' option (for the Report Options screen), which will allow you to include in your reports only the goals selected using the options in the Highlight Sidebar. We are about to issue a fresh set of updates (to version 2.9.3); if this feature is not fully tested in time for that release, it will be in the next updates (to version 2.9.4).
The 'Report On Focused View' option refers to the use of Focus View in the goal map (double-click any goal that has subgoals, or use the Goal Edit menu or right-click context menu options). When you are in Focus View and open the Report Options screen, you can choose to report only on the 'section' of your project represented by that Focus. When you are in the main view (ie showing the entire project and not using Focus View), the 'Report On Focused View' option is disabled (greyed out) because it does not apply.
Keep achieving great goals!
Richard
