Feedback on the Goalscape Mobile App
Very bad mobile app: 1. When I click on a specific goal, its location on the pie disappear which make me lost.....! 2. I cannot set the progress of each goal, I only can put tick mark which mean 100% progress. So either 100% or 0%. Very stupid...! 3. The whole idea behind goalscape is the pie, and it ia totally missing in the mobile app, and there is only goals as a list, which make it useless. App version: v4.2.8

The Goalscape Mobile app is a free companion app for the main Goalscape Online app: it syncs with your Online projects to deliver daily goals and tasks to your mobile device.
Because most phone screens are too small to support Goalscape's full 'goal map' UI and all its tap and drag functionality (even for those with very small fingers), the Mobile app uses an indented text hierarchy format (like the Goal List in the main application).
With the next major upgrade (to version 3.0), Goalscape will be a fully cross-platform app, which will support the 'goal map' UI on mobile devices as well as on desktop and laptop computers – and you will be pleased to know that we have found a way to support the full goal map UI on all platforms. Watch out for our announcements...
Keep achieving great goals – and stay safe

Thank you for quick reply,
I understand your point about screen size, but:
I think you forgot android tablets which is more than 10" screen!
So how to use goalscape with its full features on it?
Tablets are widely used in business.
Adding users, change goal importance, colouring goals, all these features are not related to screen size, so why they are not existed in android app?
Waiting from you,

Screen size is an issue for the UI because the Goalscape Mobile app for Android and iOS devices has to work on phones as well as tablets, so we have to accommodate the limitations of the smaller screens.
The other features you describe may not be related to screen size; they are though UI features in the main Goalscape Online app; and they all require the relevant controls: a Share button (to add users), dragging the goal border or the slider in the panel (to adjust Importance), Goal Edit/right-click options (apply goal colour).
Right now we are flat out developing Goalscape 3.0, so we are not intending to update the UI or the feature set in any of the existing apps.
All the best

We operate agile development and do not give release dates in advance. I can say though that it will be soon – watch out for the announcement.

Or news on release date?
Support Staff 12 Posted by Richard Parslow on 19 Sep, 2021 12:53 AM
Yes, we have already released Goalscape 3.0 – initially as a closed beta release. As an Unlimited customer you can login here with your Goalscape credentials: https://beta.goalscape.app.
You may have missed our newsletters about this release (perhaps you Unsubscribed from our mailing list); if so, you can see the details in our announcement here.
Please note that as this is beta software, it will open with a new, fresh project: this is to allow you to try it without any risk of damaging your current live projects (we will of course include an Import function before the commercial release).
Note too that this release is not yet optimised for tablets and phones – that's coming soon. In the meantime you can use it on a mobile device (the pinch-to-zoom functionality works): it may take some manipulation though (eg switching from landscape to portrait makes it easier to enter Notes, for example).
Enjoy the journey!
