Idea: Creating goalscape map from user created outlines

Could there be a wsit to create thte structure of the map by just writing out an outline..

its faster than using the mouse to click imo

    i see there is the csv importer....It may be easier to create using and outliner that exports in opml than excel...

    Thanks for your inquiry – and the follow-up.

    Yes: the CSV Import feature does indeed allow you to create a Goalscape project from an outline (tree view) created in Excel (or any other spreadsheet application). There is an article (with a short video) about this on our blog; and the details of the import file format (including the minimum requirements) are on our Knowledge Base.

    We can certainly investigate the possibility of providing an OPML import facility. In the meantime you can use an OPML to CSV converter – there are quite a few available and many of them are free.
