Don't know if this has already been suggested. But it would be useful to have a date/time stamp in Notes. Find myself using notes as more of a log of things in progress, and just being able to hit something quickly to date/time stamp the entry would be great. Even better if the date/time stamp can be configured for personal preference. But fine if it lifted it from the system preference etc.

    Hello James

    Thanks for your inquiry.

In Goalscape Online you can use Goal Comments for your 'log of things in progress': Comments display the username of the commenter with the date and time they posted that Comment.

In shared projects you can use Goal Comments to have Instant Message type conversations with one or more collaborators. You can also send Email notifications of Comments to the collaborators who are particularly interested in that goal: when the selected users receive the email they can Reply (email replies appear as new Comments on the goal) or click a link to go straight to that goal in your shared project to see the context and the entire comment history.

Use the Notes for details of the goal itself, the metrics used to assess progress (and checks for completeness), or any potential pitfalls. You can also upload further background as Attachments – or, for documents and spreadsheets that are continually being updated, upload them to a third-party filesharing facility and insert hyperlinks in the Notes (or Comments) to link to them.

There are more details about the benefits of Goalscape Online in the attached pdf. If you have not yet tried Online you can register as a Free user: create 1 project (30 goals maximum) and share it with anyone you like. This is not a limited time trial; it allows you to use Online for free for ever.

The Online Unlimited subscription ($6 per month or $66 per year) allows you to create an unlimited number of projects of unlimited size and share them with others – you can even give Free users Edit access to large shared projects (1 per Free user).

If you have any more questions please post again.

May you achieve great goals in 2020!

    Richard
