I have recently tried to download (and paid £70 for) goal scape. I'm not to fussed about the goal scape connect but that is the only way I can access GS at the moment.
I have windows 7 and adobe air, when I try and down load from your home page I get an error:
sorry, an error has occurred.
The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.'
I have no idea what this means but I'm really unhappy I cannot download it. I thought it wouldn't let me download until I paid for it so that is what I did but like I say I get the above message. could you get back to me with a solution to this.

There is certainly nothing wrong with the GoalscapeDesktop.air installer file, so the installation should be straightforward. The problem you are experiencing is likely to be due to an issue with your local installation of Adobe AIR. The solution is to uninstall both Goalscape Desktop and Adobe AIR, then do fresh reinstalls of both:
Uninstall Goalscape Desktop. In case there are some residual files from the previous unsuccessful installation, you should search for any folders and files with "Goalscape" in the name and delete them.
Uninstall Adobe AIR. If you see a warning about other AIR apps not running correctly after uninstalling it, do not worry – all your AIR apps (including Goalscape Desktop) will all work fine after you reinstall it.
Go to our Download page and follow the steps to install the latest AIR first, then download and run the GoalscapeDesktop.air file. (Note that you may need to enforce the '.air' suffix during the download.)
If you still have any difficulty please post again with a screenshot of the error message you are seeing – we will give you instructions to reset your Windows Registry for a full 'clean' reinstall.
We are also working on a captive runtime version of Goalscape Desktop that will make the application independent of the local AIR environment – watch out for announcements...
All the best!
