Can't Activate Goalscape Desktop
I'm not sure what happened, I installed Goalscape Desktop on my new computer. (Windows 7 Ultimate) I had purchased Goalscape a while back but didn't use it.
Recently, I have had the time to learn Goalscape so I reinstalled it on my new computer and have been learning and using.
Then after a reboot, I started Goalscape again and the Activation Screen showed up?
I search the support forum and found the uninstall directions and noticed a paragraph about "Number of Installs left?"
Could you please check my account and make sure that I have available installs. There is a good chance I have installed on a few of my older computers...
Also, could you please reset the trial period to use Goalscape online? I am thinking that using the cloud app might work better for me as long as the attachment features still work.
Thank you for taking the time to help me out. Now that I have learned how to use Goalscape, I'm excited to get my data transferred!

Hello Kevin
Yes: your Goalscape Desktop perpetual single-user license allows you to install and activate the software on two machines concurrently – and your latest successful activation (yesterday, May 11) used up your last available permission.
In case one of the previous activations was an error, we have given you an extra permission on your account, so you can now go ahead and (re)activate your installation.
When you upgrade your equipment in future you can uninstall Goalscape Desktop from one of your existing computers in order to free up an activation to use on the new machine.
I confirm that the web application Goalscape Copnnect supports additional collaboration features, including shared attachments. There are more details in the attached pdf.
The free Goalscape Connect subscription that you received with your perpetual Goalscape Desktop license expired last September, so we have reinstated your trial for another 2 weeks. When you sign in to Goalscape Connect you can upload your existing Desktop goalscapes (.gsp files) using the 'up into the cloud' button at the top of the screen. Please note though that there is no automatic 'sync' between Goalscape Desktop and Goalscape Connect, so you will need to do your own version control and impact analysis.
If you wish to share your projects with others, they will need their own accounts. Your colleagues and other contacts can all register for the free trial of Goalscaoe Connect here.
Enjoy the journey!
Richard
