I attempted to update my copy of goalscape, but was unable to do so. the dialogue said that the certificate did not match. Can you explain the problem and help me?

Tank you,

Clyde Lindsay

    Hello Clyde

Goalscape Desktop is double-certificated so that error message indicates that you may have missed an earlier update; or there may be an issue with the local AIR environment. Either way, the solution is:

    1. Uninstall Goalscape Desktop.

    2. Uninstall Adobe AIR (on a Mac, rather than simply dragging its icon to Trash, run the special 'Adobe AIR Uninstaller' application – this is usually in Applications > Utilities).

    3. Go to our Download page and follow the steps to install the latest AIR first, then download and run the GoalscapeDesktop.air file. (Note that you may need to enforce the '.air' suffix when you Save As.) This will install the latest version.

If the above does not work please post again and we will give you instructions to clear your Registry for a full 'clean' reinstall.

    Keep achieving great goals!

    Richard
