update causes stored password to be lost
Each time I update this program I have to reload my email and password into the program. If that were not ridiculous enough now the newest update will not accept my password and email as valid. Yes it is easy enough to reset my password but that is not the point. I know of no other program that requires me to re-enter my password each time I update it. Please fix this in your next update.

Hello Donald
Sorry you have been having trouble.
Most Goalscape Desktop updates do not require reactivation. Changes to the Adobe AIR certification protocols meant that the most recent update (and one of the previous ones) did require reactivation. We gave all our existing license-holders additional permissions to allow them to activate the new installation – and I confirm that there were no changes at all to the passwords on any user accounts, so your previous valid one certainly should have worked.
We are working on a captive runtime version of Goalscape Desktop that will make it completely independent of the local AIR environment, so reactivation should not be required after that (unless you change the hard drive or upgrade the Operating System).
All the best for 2016
Richard
