Formatting in PDF
Hello,
I like Goalscape, but its important to be able to export or print my project with correct formating. I found that I could not retain the formatting of text copied and pasted from other websites etc and pasted into Goalscape because of a change to Adobe. Fine.
But now I can't even print with correct formatting. When I export my project to PDF or word, all of the indenting, and lists are lost, and my lecture notes become impossible to navigate. Am I doing something wrong? If not, this really needs to be fixed.

Hello Jon
Sorry you have had trouble.
The issue with exporting reports to PDF with Notes text formatting is the same as the one that affects C&P of formatted text into Goalscape Notes fields: limitations on the Adobe rtf format. Note though that the export to DOCX (Download As > Download as DOCX document) is not affected by this limitation, so you should be able to print your formatted Notes fields by exporting your project to DOCX, opening it in Word (or any other WP application) and printing it from there. You should also be able to Save As > PDF from Word (or use Print > Save As PDF).
We are still working on ways to retain the formatting on both import to and export from Goalscape and hope to include this enhancements in our next updates.
All the best
Richard
