Downloading the App - Nightmare
I've been in IT for over 30 years, yet I've never seen anything as ridiculous as the download procedure you have for Goalscape. What seems like a truly amazing product is out of the reach of consumers because of the requirements of Adobe Flash & Adobe Air. If I, an IT professional with decades of experience cannot manage to download this software, I can only imagine how many of your potential clients simply walk away due to this awkward and unnecessary complexity. Why did your team decide to take something as straightforward as downloading an app, into a living nightmare? I just don't get it. Could you kindly elaborate and perhaps along the way provide an alternative manner to download this app, so I can consider making a purchase?

To add to this information.. I have downloaded and installed the latest Adobe Flash & AIR. I tried this on both Google Chrome V7.0.3396.79 and Safari 11.1.1 on an iMac 5K 27, Late 2013 with 32gb RAM, and macOS High Sierra v10.13.5 installed.

Hello Sam
Sorry that you have had trouble.
For Goalscape Desktop we use Adobe AIR to allow the same installation package to be used in both Windows and Mac environments. While this usually works well, we are aware of the potential issues and we are working on a captive runtime implementation that will make installation independent of the local AIR environment.
The error messages you are seeing confirm that the problem is indeed in your AIR installation. So to resolve it, please do the 'uninstall and reinstall Goalscape Desktop and Adobe AIR' fix (rather than just updating your AIR installation). Full instructions are on our Known Issues page. Note that instead of just dragging the AIR icon to Trash you need to run the special 'Adobe AIR Uninstaller' application – usually in Applications > Utilities.
You also have a Free user account for the separate yet compatible web application Goalscape Online, which means you can create 1 online project (30 goals maximum) and share it with others. We also understand the resistance to Adobe Flash Player and we are moving away from dependence on Flash and the browser – watch out for announcements...
All the best
Richard
