Can't launch program
using macbook pro 2013 with Yosemite 10.10.5. Goalscape online will not launch. Using Chrome Version 87.0.4280.141

Sorry you have had trouble.
If you have been seeing a 'Server Connection Problem' or other error message, the reason is that we have just been doing some updates to the server. It is definitely back up now though, so please try again.
If you have never had the new Goalscape Online app working at all on that machine, please first try uninstalling and reinstalling it from here (that's the same link as on our Download page). Or you can simply go to the old Goalscape Online web page: https://connect.goalscape.com – that page will detect your OS and present the appropriate installer (Windows or Mac).
Download the GoalscapeOnline-install.pkg file, save it to Downloads or Desktop, then run it from there and follow the steps (as for any other app installation).
Notes
If you see a password prompt during the installation, the password required is your system password (not your Goalscape one)
When the installation finishes you do not need to drag the app to your Applications folder: it will install there anyway
Depending on your OS settings the app may not start as soon as the installation finishes; if not, you can always start it from the Applications folder (then right-click its icon in the Dock and select Options > Keep in Dock).
When the app starts you should see the Goalscape Online sign-in screen, where you enter your Goalscape credentials to sign in – exactly as you did in the old browser-based web application. All your Online projects are still on our secure servers, so they will appear in your workspace (or, if Closed, will be available from your User Projects List under the Home tab).
If you do not see the sign-in screen when you start the Goalscape Online app, please send us a screenshot of what you do see. If it will not start at all, please confirm that:
You could save and run the installer package (GoalscapeOnline-install.pkg)
All the steps in the installer completed
The Goalscape Online app appears in your Applications folder.
