    Hello Steve

Sorry you have had trouble – and for the delay in responding.

We cannot reproduce this error; and we have not heard from anyone else having a similar issue.

The most likely culprit is an overactive Windows Defender, or some security setting in the Co-op LAN or firewall – please could you ask your IT support to investigate and post here again if they are unable to help.

You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the latest version is always available here: https://connect.goalscape.com.

I confirm that this issue has already been escalated to the development team and your answers here will be very useful.

    All the best

    Richard

    Hello Steve,

this seems to be a problem with corrupted installation package that was possibly not downloaded correctly on your system.

You can try to download the installation package directly from this URL: https://goalscape.com/media/releases/windows/archive/GoalscapeOnlin...

When downloaded, make sure the Goalscape Online application is closed. Then double-click on the installation package to start the Windows Installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the application update.

You can also try uninstalling the application and reinstalling the latest version from here: https://connect.goalscape.com.

Please let us know if that solved your issue..
    Thank you!

    All the best,

    Tomas

    Hello Steve

We have identified and fixed an SSL Certificate issue that is likely to have caused the autoupdate you that reported here.

Please try updating the Goalscape Online app again and let us know if it works for you now.

    All the best

    Richard

    Hi Richard

it doesnt work if you click install update, however if you click do not install update then it loads up.

Ill share this with the other users in the short term although we still need a fix to install update.

    Hello Steve

    Thanks for the additional information.

Please could you try downloading the latest version direct from here https://connect.goalscape.com: it should install straight over the existing one (as long as you use the same option 'Only for me' or 'for Everybody' as you did for the previous installation).

If that does not work, please could you ask the Co-op's IT support if there is any additional security that prevents users from installing software – we have heard of cases where business networks only allow users to install software via the corporate 'App Centre' (or similar), so if the application is not available in the App Centre it cannot be installed. If the Co-op has such a system that could be why the existing 'approved' version is running, yet the update fails.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation here.

    Richard
