Copy & Paste online using Firefox
I can drag and drop the goal around, but I cannot copy and paste the goal. Error message appears saying "Access to clipboard denied - please update your browser preferences."
Any chance you can point me into the setting that needs tweaking.

Hello Pete
Good to hear from you again – sorry you have had trouble.
Yes, there is some glitch in Firefox that prevents access to the clipboard: in older versions of Firefox there was a popup where you could select 'Block/Allow access to the clipboard'; in the latest version though, 'Block' seems to be selected by default and this cannot be changed. We are urgently investigating a workaround for this.
I am happy to say that the Goalscape web app works perfectly in all other major browsers though. So in the meantime we recommend that you use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge – both work well under either Windows or macOS.
We will post here with any news about the Firefox anomaly.
All the best
Richard

Hi Rich,
hope all is well at your end mate.
Yeah I've looked in the about:config but couldn't see anything. I'll have to try some sort of work round for now.
Pete

Hi Pete
Sorry it has taken so long to follow up here – and in fact the fix for this was found by another customer (another big Firefox fan).
The Firefox message 'Access to update your Preferences' is correct; the relevant setting is hidden in the Config area though. The steps to update them are:
In Firefox, enter 'about:config' in the address bar
Click 'Accept the Risk and Continue'
In the Search field, enter 'clipboard' (or just 'clip')
Find the following 3 settings and change them to 'true':
See screenshot.
Now you will be able to C&P goals in the web app in Firefox.
For the full background check out Gregg's Public post.
Cheers!
Richard

Hi Pete
If you have any trouble finding those settings please post again – ideally with a screenshot of about:config with 'clip' in the Search field.
In case you missed it, we released a new update this morning, with a few new features:
Invite New User by Sharing, with email notifications (which also now go to invitees who already have an account, as well as new users).
Customization options in the Focus sidebar for Date and Progress
Intercom integration
Open in a new tab (option in ellipsis menu in Home screen)
Cheers!
Richard
