Shape of my goalscape - an ellipse not a circle!
I have Goalscape installed at home - no problem
I went to install it on my work computer (for now the free version,
as I havent decided where to use my 2nd installation license) but
the goal circle is longer in the vertical than the horizontal axis,
ie it is an ellipse. Even when I resize the window to make it
broader and less tall the vertical axis is exceeding the horizontal
axis. Is this a known issue, please?

Hi Robert,
Can you look into your screen resolution settings? Which operating system do you run Goalscape on? You could have a stretched screen. If that's it try selecting a normal resolution. If it's not can you attach a printscreen of it?

I think I've exagerated a bit , as the ratio is about 12:11 vertical to horizontal, but noticeably not circular. I attach a screenshot. My work computer is Windows XP. The DPI setting is normal size (96 DPI) not an obviously stretched screen (how does one check? I've looked in display: settings) The screen res is 1024 * 768 pixels.

I have had a look and you are right - it is very slightly stretched vertically. It may well be due to the low screen resolution you are using. Can you change it to 1280 x 800? You may be able to select a higher resolution in Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Display Properties.
In the meantime we will continue to investigate - thanks for notifying us about this issue.

I think it's just the human eye perception. Especially on the Graphite (black) background. I replicated your view (see attached Before) and then collapsed one level (down arrow from the pie) and added two more goals under "Attitude Models" and "Work - Life Balance". And you're presented with a fully rounded circle pie (see attached After).

Thank you very much Adrian for this, and also Richard for his comments. It definitely was more elliptical til I activated my license version, but now looks fine and I will also follow Richard's tip re increasing the screen resolution.
