Upgrade failure
Hi,
I've tried to upgrade my Goalscape version but the process
failed with this message :
"There was an error downloading the update. Error# 16800"
The download error windows of Goalscape explains : [DownloadErrorEvent (type=downloadError text= id=16800 subErrorID=16803)]
How can I access to the new version ?
Best regards
Jean-Michel Monin

Dear Jean-Michel,
please excuse the inconvenience.
did you just try once? Maybe there is a problem with your internet connection. So maybe you just want to try again.
Also which version of Adobe AIR and Goalscape are you running?
We will try to help you update, but we need these informations.
Marcus

Hi Jean-Michel
Just a quick follow-up: did you manage to resolve your problems downloading the updates? As far as I know you are the only person to have hit this problem so it may be due to some peculiarity in your environment; nevertheless we are very keen to ensure that all our customers can download all the updates.
Please post again if you are still having trouble; in the meantime I am marking this 'resolved'.

Hi Jean-Michel
Great - I am glad you have now managed to update your software. You should have the latest version now (2.1.1185.495, from 2/2/10). There is a short video on our blog that illustrates the latest changes.
We are planning to synch with Outlook and other calendar apps later this year. Before then we will probably deliver our own 'alarm' function for approaching due dates; and a separate 'filter' function to focus on goals taking place within certain (user-defined) time periods.
All the best!
Richard
