Error message "check internet connection" during activation of Goalscape Desktop

I am receiving a message when I try to activate my Goalscape purchase: Goalscape Desktop could not be activated because of a temporary Internet timeout. Please check your Internet connection and try again.

My Internet connection is fine (I'm sending this email, aren't I?) and have downloaded all appropriate files, etc.

Goalscape v2.7.5 (build 3556.1289)
Air v18.0.0.144
Windows 8.1 Pro (all current updates as of 20/6/2015
Chrome Version 43.0.2357.124 m

    I downloaded and installed the file shared there and the activation appears to have worked successfully.

    Sorry for the slow response to your original message here – glad you found the fix!

    The next Public updates for Goalscape Desktop (due imminently) will auto-install over this Preview (after the release, the next time you start Goalscape Desktop while you are connected to the Internet, you will see an on-screen message with a prompt to install it).
