Also, how can I make a goalscape template public for other users to try?

Thanks,

    Hello Dan

Creating a template is exactly the same as creating a normal goalscape: just build it and email it to those you want to be able to use it.

If you are talking about embedding such a template in the software (like the standard "Get started with Goalscape" one that comes with Goalscape and can be recovered at any time through Help) then that is not possible.

It is really easy to share goalscapes (templates or not) using Goalscape Connect. Just create the template, upload to Goalscape Connect and send the URL to people. Even if they are not existing customers they can read and edit such goalscapes online. To create their own goalscapes in Goalscape Connect your contacts can register for a free account for the preview period. To download and use goalscapes while not connected to the Internet (or create new ones to upload) they will of course need to buy Goalscape Desktop.

Note that if several different people have the same URL they will all be editing the same goalscape. If you want different people to have their own version you will have to close the open one and upload the "blank" again so that it has a different URL to send them. If you do that you should probably give it a different name (or append the individual's initials) to avoid confusion.

    May you achieve great goals!

    Richard
