How to Backup Data Files?
Hello GoalScape,
First off, you have a great product here. I am giving you a trial run but so far so good!
My question is this: I like to back up all of my data (especially for something I will put much time into). So, I would like to know which data files to backup just in case my computer crashes / hard drive fails... so that I can access the projects I have created.
Thanks for you time.
Craig

Hello Craig
Thanks for the positive feedback!
All you need to save are the goalscapes (.gsp files) that you create. If you back them up to an external hard drive or data stick you will be able to open them after you rebuild your environment in the event of a disastrous crash.
You can back up the software itself if you wish, but you do not need to: if you have to reinstall it you can always simply download a fresh copy from our website and activate it using your existing credentials. (NB if you have already activated it on more than one machine you may need to apply for an extra activation, which you can do by posting on this forum.)
May you achieve great goals!
Richard
