Gantt chart

Hi

Is there a GANTT chart facility in goalscape? I read previous discussion threads that one would be incorporated in 2014 but not sure where it is.

Just as another request - it would be useful to be able to re-orientate text with the goals cape.

   Hello Iain

   Thanks for your inquiry.

   1. Right now Gantt view is only available in our corporate product Goalscape Enterprise. We are still planning to roll out Gantt View (and some of the other business features currently only available in Goalscape Enterprise) in a new 'Goalscape Plus' product, which will be available as an upgrade – probably later this year. When we release Goalscape Plus we will give all our customers access to the enhanced functionality free of charge for a limited period.

   2. The goal names in the goal map are displayed radially in order to make the best possible use of the available screen 'real estate' in the goal slices. If a goal slice is too small to show the full name, when you mouseover it a pop-up appears that shows the full goal name (horizontally).

   I emailed you earlier this year about GANTT functionality in the desktop
   version of goalscape. You mentioned that this functionality will be rolled
   out sometime later this year, but you also mentioned there is an enterprise
   version.

   I work for a large blue chip company and I am interested in using Goalscape
   across my team ( I have already demonstrated it to them and it seemed to go
   down well) but no doubt it will be difficult to get it into the
   organisation straight off. However I think if I can get an enterprise
   licence for my team (about 8 people) and demonstrate it within my immediate
   area then I may get traction more widely.

   Can I ask how much an enterprise licence might be to see if I can get it in
   locally at first? Do you do trial versions at all?

   If you could give me some guidance it would be much appreciated. I used the
   product briefly at a company (Blue NG) I worked for about 5 years ago and
   have just rediscovered/remembered the product this year and having showed
   it to a few people in my organisation so far with good feedback. I think it
   could be a very useful performance tool but its also a great way of
   graphically showing strategic pathways etc.
