Hi,
I'm just trying out the Connect version of Goalscape and went to the online Help however nothing seems to be coming up for me. Is that because I'm on a trial version or am I missing something?

I had just added a person to a goal but wanted to delete them and put their name in differently but couldn't figure out how to do that. (which is why I went to the HELP resource)

Thank you for your assistance,
Kathryn

    Hello Kathryn

Thanks for reporting the issue with online Help in Goalscape Connect – we are investigating this urgently. In case this is an issue with the browser you are using, please could you try a different browser and let us know if that works for you.

To answer your question: in the Goalscape Connect Share screen you can delete a collaborator's username by clicking the 'X' to the right of the 'access level' field for that collaborator in the list area (see screenshot). That will remove that collaborator from the project. Then you can enter the correct username in the 'Add username' field at the top.

Note too that anyone with whom you share the project needs to have a Goalscape Connect account. If your contact does not already have an account they can register for the free trial here (as you did). Alternatively you can register for them by entering their email address on that page (if you do so you should also warn them to look out for the registration email from [email blocked]). We are looking at ways to simplify this process so users can enter any valid email address in the Share screen.

If there is anything else you need to know please post again.

    All the best

    Richard

Thanks Richard - is there a reason I couldn't see the Online Help information when I went to that tab?

That's what we are investigating. It would be helpful if you could try another browser and let us know which browser(s) work for you and which do not.

    Thanks for your cooperation here!

I have tried Chrome - it did not work the Help Screen (see attached),
I just tried with Explorer and it seemed to work fine.

    Hello Kathryn

Quick follow-up: the issue you have encountered may be due to the SSL certification on our site: Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox recently changed their security settings for https sites and this is preventing the Help appearing correctly (although it does not affect any of the other functionality in Goalscape Connect, which also uses SSL on a https URL!).

While we are sorting out the certification issue we may consider switching the Help pages to http as a workaround. In the meantime you can of course still access the online Help if you use IE as your browser when you access Goalscape Connect.

Sorry for the inconvenience – and thanks again for taking the time to report this issue.

    Enjoy the journey!

    Richard
