Import interface capability
Hi,
Is it possible to import (or link via a hyperlink) the raw data from an excel spreadsheet, rather than have to manually update the status, thanks

Hello Lorenzo
Thanks for your inquiry.
You can use hyperlinks in the Notes field to point to any external site, including Google Drive or other filesharing facility. However you will still need to update specific attributes (like Progress) in Goalscape itself.
If you are asking about importing data to populate a new project with data (from Excel, say), I confirm that we are working on a general Import mechanism that will take a formatted CSV file. Note that this will also require a 'parsing' function to reorder the columns and header names to match the format of our exported XLSX and CSV files.
In the meantime if you have MS Project or a mindmapping application you may be able to import your Excel data into that third party tool, then use Goalscape's Import MS Project XML or Import MMAP feature to import the data.
Enjoy the journey!
Richard

Hello Lorenzo
As you may have noticed, we have now delivered the 'Import CSV' feature you requested!
For more information (and a How-To video) see our blog article. The full requirements for the CSV source file are in our Knowledge Base.
Keep achieving great goals!
