Goalscape images and hyperlinks

Hi Richard,
I was wondering if the Goalscape images are clickable, when
exported to a
website, and the distinctive pies can be linked to internet
pages?
Thank you in advance,
Marjanne

Hello Marjanne
I have split this into a new discussion as it is about a different matter.
Yes: you can export images of a project goal map (what you call the "pie") in PNG or JPG formats. In Goalscape Online use Download As > Show Report Options; and in Goalscape Desktop use File > Report Options (or you can export direct to PNG or JPG from File > Export). Note that the exported image will reflect your current View of the project (with Collapsed levels and Focus – when you are in Focus View you will also export an image of the 'miniature' that shows where the Focused goal appears in the overall project).
For the best image export, in Goalscape itself optimise your goal name font sizes as they appear in the goal map using the Goal Edit or right-click options or hotkeys.
In Report Options, click the PNG or JPG icon and check the Preview. You can create hi-res images by selecting a larger image size in the sidebar on the right (based on paper sizes: default is A4). Whatever image size you select, you can adjust the goal name font sizes globally using the slider. See second screenshot.
You can use the exported image in a website or email – and of course you can insert a hyperlink under it.
Many people use images of Goalscape goal maps on their websites to display an engaging visual representation of their personal or corporate goals. Coaches and consultants use a generic version of a typical project (collapsing the outer levels so as not to give away too much detail!).
The link underneath the goal map image can go to a landing page on their website or to our website. In Goalscape Online you can also make a project Public using the checkbox in the Share screen. Then you can use an image of the project with a link to the project itself: anyone who has the link will be able to navigate and read your project. People do not need to sign in to Goalscape Online to see a Public project, so they do not even need to register for a Free account.
If there is anything else you need to know please post again. You can also search the forum to see if your question has already been covered in a Public discussion.
Enjoy the journey!
Richard
