    Hi David,

Sorry that you are having trouble. I confirm that we are investigating an issue with the mobile app affecting certain Android devices. We are working on a fix and will post here when we issue a new build. Meanwhile, it will be great to know which Android OS you are running on the devices.

    Regards,
    Adrian

    My phone is android 4.4.2
I think my tablet is the same.

    Hello David

We are aware of issues that affect the Goalscape Mobile app on devices running older versions of Android than 4.4.3. Please update your Android installations on those devices, then try Goalscape Mobile again.

    All the best

This is not possible as Samsung rolls out stable updates only occasionally
and both of my devices say they are up to date with regards to android.
Your app should be backwards compatible in my opinion.

    Hello David

The latest version of Android is 6.0.1. If you have that installed, Goalscape Mobile should work perfectly: we cannot reproduce the error you have reported here and we have not heard from anyone else having a similar problem.

If that is not the case for you, please first ensure that you have Android version 6.0.1 installed (you can find this in Settings > About [device] > Software info. If the installed version(s) of Android is earlier than 4.4.3 on either of your devices, please update it, then uninstall Goalscape Mobile and download the latest version here.

If problems persist when you are running the latest versions of Android and Goalscape Mobile, please post again with details of the make and model of your device(s). Screenshots would also be useful.

    All the best

    Richard

    Hello again David

Quick follow-up: later today we will be releasing another update for Goalscape Mobile, which may address your blank screen issue even if you cannot update the Android version on 1 or both of your devices.

We will post here when the update is available on |Google Play.

    Hi David,

We've just pushed a new build live. It usually takes a few hours until it is available for update on the Google store. We identified an issue with 4.4 range of Android devices.
Our application relies on technologies that require a version of WebView (https://developer.android.com/reference/android/webkit/WebView.html) which is not installed on Android 4.4.2. That's why we asked you to at least upgrade to 4.4.3. However, give this new version a try and let us know if it works.

    Regards,
    Adrian
