I would like to summarize numbers in subgoals.
as i plan a building project in goalscape I would like a little window in all te subgoals were i can note the amount counting fore this subcontractor. All the subcontractors will all ad up in the main goal .

Is this possible ?
Cheers Bart

    Hi Bart

    Thanks for your inquiry.

Although Goalscape is not really an accounting tool as such, we are considering ways to add a 'budgeting' facility – probably by allowing entry of absolute values for importance and progress (rather than percentages).

One way to achieve what you are trying to do would be to use the Export/Download to XLSX, then open the file in any spreadsheet application. Then you can insert a new column for the value and/or amount outstanding for each goal. If you have listed your subcontractors as Responsible for different goals you can also use the Sort data function to reorder your goals by Responsible, then you can find the amounts for each subcontractor by adding the amounts for all the goals for which each is responsible.

    Cheers!

    Hello Bart

    Sorry you are having trouble.

Nearly all download, installation and activation issues are due to a problem with the local Adobe AIR environment – and Goalscape Desktop is double-certificated, so the error message you are seeing is incorrect (which also indicates an AIR issue).

The first thing to try is the 'uninstall and reinstall Goalscape Desktop and Adobe AIR' fix: full step-by-step instructions for doing this are on the Known Issues page.

If that does not work, you may need to clear the Registry on that machine. The steps for doing this (for all supported OS) are here (that link is also on our Knowledge Base).

Note too that you also have an Unlimited subscription for the separate yet compatible web application Goalscape Online. That means that you can sign in to Goalscape Online and create an unlimited number of projects of unlimited size (or upload your existing Desktop projects). Then you can access all your Online projects on any computer. You can share your online projects with others – and even give Free users Edit access to your shared projects (1 per Free user).

There is also a free Goalscape Mobile app for all Android and iOS phones and tablets. It is a companion app for Goalscape Online that syncs automatically with your online projects to deliver daily goals and tasks in an indented text hierarchy (like the Goal List in the main applications).

    Keep achieving great goals!

    Richard

Splendid! Thanks for letting us know.

I cannot give you any delivery date for the 'absolute values' implementation – watch out for announcements...
