AutoRenew
Hello,
Is there a way to manually renew the subscription each month. I tend to forget about the services that I have signed up for with my credit card and am trying to become more aware by manually paying for each service. Thanks.

Hello Jon
Welcome aboard! Thanks for your inquiry.
The only monthly payment plan is the 'recurring billing' plan, which automatically renews each month. You do not need to keep scanning your credit card bills though: we send invoice emails every month to confirm that your payments are being taken. You may find that this is sufficient to make you more aware of your outgoings.
You can renew manually every month by cancelling your subscription every time you receive the invoice email. In Goalscape Online itself, click Settings > Manage account, login to your account with your Goalscape username and password, then scroll down your account page and click 'Cancel this subscription'. You will see an on-screen acknowledgement and your subscription will be scheduled to cancel at the next renewal date. Prior to that date you will receive reminder emails; and you can renew your subscription any time before it expires, with no loss of service. Note though that when you create a new subscription, it will be valid for a month from creation date – it will not be appended to the previous (cancelled) subscription.
If you choose not to renew, your account will revert to Free user: you will still be able to create 1 new project (30 goals maximum) and share it with others. All your existing projects will be View only – for you and for anyone with whom you have shared them.
Enjoy the journey!
Richard

Thanks for the swift reply. If my account reverts to Free user, will all of
my goals which are above and beyond the 30 maximum be lost permanently?

Hi Jon
No: if your subscription lapses to Free user, all your existing projects will just be View only – for you and for anyone with whom you have shared them. You will still be able to create 1 new project (30 goals maximum).
If you want to 'keep' an existing project as your 1 Editable project, you can download it (as a .gsp file) before your subscription lapses, then re-upload it afterwards. If it has more than 30 goals you will not be able to add any more, you will though be able to update the existing goals.
Cheers!
Richard

I cancelled my account, but for some reason I just got charged for this next month! Please let it stop!

Hello Jon
Sorry for the error. We have canceled your Online Unlimited monthly subscription and refunded your latest payment – you should already have received the relevant email confirmations.
Note that your Goalscape Desktop lifetime license (purchased on July 8, 2017) includes a free 6-month Unlimited subscription, so you will still have full access to all your projects in Goalscape Online until that subscription expires on January 8, 2018. You will receive the usual expiry reminders prior to that date.
Interestingly, we could not find any record of your attempt to cancel your Unlimited monthly subscription (which at least explains why the billing continued). To help us to investigate what went wrong for you, please could you confirm what you did to cancel it and when you did it – was it before or after you bought your Goalscape Desktop license?
Once again I am sorry for the problem you experienced here – thanks for your patience and cooperation in helping us to fix the error that caused it.
All the best
Richard
