I current have a perpetual Desktop licence and am running 2.9.2 and would like to know how to upgrade to 2.9.4?

Autoupdate, download and installation issues are nearly always due to a problem with the local Adobe AIR environment. The solution is to uninstall and reinstall Goalscape Desktop and Adobe AIR: full step-by-step instructions for doing this are on our Known Issues page.
We are working on a captive runtime version of Goalscape Desktop that will make it completely independent of the local AIR environment.
