Progress only on outer level goals??

I realized today that I can't mark progress on individual goals from outer to inner. Meaning, I envisioned using this tool to watch the shading go from the outer goal inward until I eventually hit the innermost goal.

That's actually the concept that made me want to sign up with Goalscape because that visualization would be very motivating.

Today I discovered there's no such functionality. The progress you set on the outermost goal shades all inner goals and the center as well, which is just silly in my opinion.

Why was this design chosen?

Nevermind - I just realized my mistake! It only shades the inner goals a portion of the outer. I'm such a dork! :-)

    Hello Ryan

Thanks for your inquiry – and a BIG thanks for the follow-up (I was half-way through writing an explanation of how Progress works in Goalscape when I saw your second message).

The basics of Goalscape (Subgoals, Importance and Progress) are covered in the Intro video (which is also embedded on our homepage) – and there is a Full Tutorial video that covers all the major functionality.

And of course if you ever need to know something else please post here – we usually respond immediately.

    Enjoy the journey!

    Richard
