Please tell us a day, when the diagram chart will be implemented in mobile phone application?

Is there a plan to implement TreeMap view? They are very similar to the way you show the information, so you probably do not need to update the internal part of the application.

Please suggest what I get if I buy an offline desktop app? Will it sync with the online projects?
I also did not get the idea with payment. I buy a desktop app as a plus to all other subscriptions?

    Hello Dmitry

Welcome aboard! Thanks for your inquiry.

    • Goalscape Online and Goalscape Mobile

You have purchased an Unlimited monthly subscription for the web application Goalscape Online, which means you can create an unlimited number of Online projects of unlimited size and Share them with anyone you like.

You can also access and update your Online projects using the free Goalscape Mobile companion app (for all Android and iOS phones and tablets). It syncs with your Online projects to display daily goals and tasks on your mobile device.

Because most phone screens are simply too small to support Goalscape's full 'goal map' UI and all its tap and drag functionality (even for those with very small fingers), Goalscape Mobile uses an indented text hierarchy format (Tree View).

I confirm that Tree View is indeed also available in the main Goalscape Online application: you access it via the 'Goal List' button in the Highlight Sidebar. In the Goal List popup you can select Tree View or Table View: in Tree View you can check off your goals as you complete them; and in Table View you can Sort your goals by Due Date or Progress (or by Name, or presence of Attachments or Notes text). You can also Export your Goal List via the clipboard (in Table View this is in CSV format) – and export it to another tool if you wish.

    • Goalscape Desktop

Goalscape Desktop is a separate product: it is standalone desktop software, downloaded and run on a desktop or laptop computer (Windows or Mac).

The two products are compatible: in Online you can upload and download Desktop projects (.gsp files). There is though no automatic sync between the two products, so if you want to run the same project(s) in Online and Desktop you will need to download and upload them as required. Each time you do this you will create a new version (of the .gsp file on download) or instance of the project (in Online on upload), so you will also need to do your own version control (NB we do not recommend doing this for shared projects, since a collaborator may have made changes to the original shared project in Online).

If you wish to use Desktop as well as Online you will need to purchase a Desktop single-user lifetime licence ($60, one-time payment), which allows you to activate one installation at a time for ever.

The Desktop licence also includes our Web Bonus: a free 6-month Online Unlimited subscription; so if you purchase one, the payments on your existing Unlimited monthly subscription will be suspended for 6 months.

    • Goalscape 3.0

Goalscape 3.0, to be released later this year, will be completely cross-platform and will run on any popular device; and we are indeed planning to implement the 'goal map' UI in the mobile app. Watch out for announcements...

If you need to know anything else please post again.

    May you achieve great goals!

    Richard
