I am considering signing back up from a goalscape hiatus. I am confused on the packages. I see the offline package for one time $60 has a six month unlimited online included. My questions are:

1) Do my online and offline projects synchronize so that work I do offline will be update when i come back online on a given project?
2) What will the future cost be to maintain offline/online after the six months?

    Hello Ian

Welcome back – thanks for your inquiry.

You already have a perpetual single-user license for the standalone desktop software Goalscape Desktop. So you can simply download a fresh copy from our website and Activate it at the Welcome screen with your username and password, as you have done before.

You also have a Free user account for the separate web application Goalscape Online. You can still sign in to Online and run 1 project (30 goals maximum). If you purchase an Unlimited subscription you can create an unlimited number of Online projects of unlimited size and share them with others.

    To answer your questions:

    1. The two products are compatible: if you have an Online Unlimited subscription you can upload Desktop projects (.gsp files) to work on them (and share them) in Online; and you can download your Online projects as .gsp files that you can open and update in Desktop.

Note though that there is no automatic sync between Desktop and Online, so if you want to work on the same project in both, you will have to upload and download it each time you switch – and you will need to do your own version control. We do not recommend this sort of use for shared projects.

    2. The price of the Goalscape Online Unlimited subscription is $6 per month or $66 per year – you can purchase on our Plans and Pricing page.

    Keep achieving great goals!

    Richard

PS We are working on a new version of Goalscape that will be fully cross-platform – watch out for announcements...
