RE Using Goal scape with Google calendar or generating Ghantt charts
Hi Team,
Hope you have been enjoying the festive period. I wanted to ask for clarification on the features page: https://goalscape.com/en/pricing/
It shows the desktop version, which I trialled as a demo version. I am currently leading on a range of projects which I need to manage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Can the desktop version interface with Google calendar in any meaningful way? e.g If I create a Research task and say it should take two weeks is there a way to link this to my google calendar and have a reminder for task completion?
Second question is it possible to generate Gantt charts with the desktop version?
Many thanks.
Lai

Hello Lai
Thanks for your inquiry.
We are glad that you like using Desktop. For working on shared projects however, the ideal solution is Goalscape Online. It uses the same UI as Desktop – and it supports some cool project sharing and collaboration facilities like presence and update indicators, per-project user access settings and Goal Comment (per-goal Instant Messaging with inline attachments and email notification options).
As a Free user you can create 1 Online project (30 goals maximum) and share it with anyone you like – and you can even give them all Edit access to your project completely free of charge. When you share a project with a new user, they will receive an email invitation with instructions to download Goalscape Online, set their own password and sign in.
The Unlimited subscription allows you to create an unlimited number of Online projects. You can also upload all your existing Desktop projects to Online and Share the work ones with the relevant people.
There are more details about using Online in the attached pdf.
We are working flat out on developing the new Goalscape 3.0 webapp and expect to deliver it in the first part of next year. After that release we will be investigating new integrations with third party tools, starting with Google Calendar.
The Gantt chart is currently implemented in our Goalscape Enterprise corporate solution. We are considering including it, along with some other Enterprise 'business features' in a new 'Goalscape Plus' product, which will be available as an upgrade to Goalscape Online.
Keep achieving great goals – and have a marvellous 2021!
Richard
