Perpetual GoalScape Desktop license
Hello!
I have a perpetual GoalScape Desktop license and I'd like to know whether I could activate an additional copy of the application on another computer.
On the Pricing page (https://goalscape.com/en/pricing/) I don't even see the option to buy the perpetual license anymore. Did GoalScape become a completely subscription-based service?

Hello Alexey
Thanks for your inquiry – sorry for the delay in responding.
Your Goalscape Desktop license allows you to activate the Offline app on one machine at a time. Whenever you activate a new installation (or reactivate an old one), that automatically deactivates the previous one. It follows that you can use the Desktop app on multiple computers; whenever you change machines though, you will need to reactivate the software (as well as transferring all your Desktop goalscapes by moving the .gsp files).
If you want to use Goalscape on multiple machines simultaneously, without the hassle of transferring .gsp files every time, by far the best solution is to use the cloud solution Goalscape Online (download the Online app here. You can regain your Unlimited access to Online by purchasing a new subscription on the Pricing page (https://goalscape.com/en/pricing) – or Reply here and we will do it for you (please confirm whether you would like the yearly or monthly option).
All the best
Richard
PS We are of course continuing to support all our Goalscape Desktop customers and the app will always to be available for download on compatible machines. We are also still selling licenses to new users, packaged with the Goalscape Online Unlimited yearly subscription.

Thanks, Richard! You made it clear to me. I thought that if my GoalScape Desktop copy is not activated, it violates the license agreement, and I have to remove the copy. If it is fine to have the app installed on several machines and activate it when I need to switch between my working laptop and home computer, then I'm absolutely satisfied. Thanks for the great planning tool!
