Lifetime Membership
I purchased a lifetime membership and see that revisions have been made to the software since. It looks like you've moved to the monthly payment profit model only, as I don't see the desktop lifetime options available.
Are you intending to not offer any updates to lifetime purchasers moving forward?

Hello Justin
Good to hear from you again.
Yes: although we are not promoting the legacy Goalscape Desktop standalone software we are continuing to support it for existing users, and your original licence is certainly still valid. So you can always download the legacy Desktop app and Activate it on any supported OS (you may wish to bookmark that page).
We are focusing our development on the new Goalscape web app. It's back in the browser, and as well as a fresh UI it has some exciting new features – and we are adding more all the time.
You can login to the web app and start a new Free Trial – and you can easily upload your old Desktop goalscapes (.gsp files) using the 'Import goalscapes button in the Home screen (see screenshot).
If you love the new web app you can purchase a subscription by clicking Upgrade in the 'Free Trial' banner at the top of the screen in the web app. And as a long-time Goalscaper you can take advantage of our Special Offer: buy a new Yearly subscription at the old price ($66). All the details (including the Coupon Code to use) are here. Please note that this offer expires at the end of the month (28 February 2022).
Keep achieving great goals!
Richard

You say you're "supporting" the legacy version but updates seem to have stagnated at build 138.
It would be remiss of me to enter into a lease agreement based on passed experience.
Rather disappointing.

Hello Justin
I am sorry that you are disappointed with Goalscape.
It appears however that you are using an old version of Goalscape Desktop: the latest version is 2.12.0 (build 148), released on January 14, 2022 – you can download it here (you may wish to bookmark that page). You will be pleased to know that the latest versions have an Autoupdate facility: when an update is available you will see a message on startup.
Justin, you will always be able to use the Goalscape Desktop software for which you purchased a license in 2020 on any supported OS; you had Unlimited use of the Goalscape Online cloud solution free for 6 months (and still have Free user access to that software); and you can try the full functionality of the new web app free for 2 weeks. And we will indeed continue to support Goalscape Desktop – and your use of it: we have responded promptly to all your messages here and we will always do so in the future.
So if you can provide more details about how we have failed to meet your expectations, I am sure we will be able to address your concerns.
All the best
Richard

Richard, I'm not disappointed in the Goalscape software but rather that the desktop version was shelved so quickly.
I'm please to see it's been updated for 2022.
Thank you for a timely response.
