Equalize Subgoals Should Not Unlock Goals

If some goals have a set importance that are locked, equalizing subgoals shouldn't change their size. Please add an option to equalize non-locked subgoals.

    Hello Eric

Thanks very much for taking the time to report this.

You are correct: locked goals should indeed remain locked, even when the 'Equalize Subgoals' option is selected on the parent. We will fix this (or offer an 'include locked goals' option).

    Keep achieving great goals!

    Richard,

It's been 2 years since this issue was brought up and it still has not been fixed :(

Any idea on when it will be included?

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hello Eric

    Thanks for the follow-up.

This fix is in our development program; however it is low priority, since the way it presently operates is simple to implement and simple for users to understand ('equalize subgoals' does just that, regardless of any locking). We may still add an option (to include/exclude locked goals); right now though our development priority is building Goalscape 3.0, so we will leave this until we release the new version.

    Keep achieving great goals!

    Richard
