Could you share any plans for incorporating Habits and Tasks into Goalscape.

    Hello Jonathan

    Thanks for your inquiry.

We recognize that because habits may contribute to multiple parents (in different areas of the goal map), they may not fit neatly into a strict hierarchy. We are investigating ways to represent such 'synergistic' goals as different instances of the same goal under different parents (with updates made to any instance being reflected in all the others).

In the meantime you can create such goals as Level 1 subgoals (next to the main goal) and show their association with all the goals to which they contribute by adding a Tag to each of those goals.

For daily and other recurring tasks (especially those that are binary – either done or not done), you can record your Progress as the % of days you completed the task in any period, then reset it to 0 at the end of each such period.

We will be taking a closer look at this area (and other new features) once we have delivered the Goalscape web app later this year.

Keep achieving great goals – and stay safe!
